A room opens on one shared set of eras. You and every opponent see the identical players in the identical order, so nobody wins on a luckier draw.
Each round deals an era and you take one player for one seat. Someone else taking the name you wanted is the whole game — the board thins as it goes.
When the last seat fills, both rosters play a full season against real historical production. The record book scores it, and the better-built team wins.

What happens when I join a room?
You land on a shared board with the other players in that room and the first era deals immediately. Picks go around until every seat on every roster is filled, then the season runs and the results post together.
Do I need an account to play against people?
No. Rooms are open to guests, your results save to the device you played on, and an account only becomes useful when you want that history to follow you between phone and desktop.
What is the difference between ranked and a live room?
A live room is a one-off against whoever is there. Ranked pairs you by a rating that moves with every result, so the opponents get harder as you win and your placement is tracked across the ladder.
How long does one match take?
A full roster is usually five to ten minutes depending on how many seats the sport uses and how quickly the room picks. The season simulation itself resolves in seconds once the last seat is taken.
What if nobody else is queueing right now?
You will be matched with a house roster built to the same board rather than left waiting. It plays the identical rules, and the result counts the same way yours does.
Can I play a friend instead of a stranger?
Yes — a challenge sends one link that opens your exact board for whoever follows it. They draft the same eras in the same order, and the two rosters are scored side by side when both finish.
